We need to laugh more….when traveling so many things are out of your control.  After the years of travel that I have had, I have realized that you need to laugh!  Things from given the key to an occupied hotel room to looking out the window of a hotel room and seeing things you don’t wanna see to the Playboy channel being on the rental car radio when you turn it on…..are just of few of mine!  What are yours!?!?!?!?!

Great visit to NOLA!!  I have come to the realization that New Orleans is NOT Bourbon street.  Not a fan of Bourbon street, but love the people, food and atmosphere!  It was a great visit…..for me, the funny part was when I was going for morning walk….lots of people were just coming home and the bars were still ROCKING!  LOL…..

I was there during the French Quarter Fest, however was not able to see any of because of work schedule!  New Orleans has some of the best people watching!

For the first time I went to visit the Cherry Blossom Festival!  It was was amazing…..

Here are few of the photos!  The funny part was when we began our adventure, we were dressed for the afternoon weather of 80s/90s!  That was not the case when we left our hotel….it was CHILLY!  We spent the first few hours of the day trying not to look like we were freezing in the pics!  Four hours later we found the touristy sweatshirts for sale…..then the sun came out and we were too warm….LOL.

Last week I was in NYC for meetings.  Nothing in particular jumped out as funny.  However, when in NYC many times just walking around brings laughter.  I was walking around Times Square and I saw the “Naked Cowboy.”  I remember the first time I was in NYC and saw him.  I was shocked and didn’t realize how much of a following he had.  

With all the stresses in life and work, I a firm believer that we need more laughter in the world!

Travel with Laughter!

I love it when my friends tell me about their travel and that it would make a great story for my blog!  Laughing more will make the world of travel better. Traveling in the winter in the Northeast leads to great travel stories.

This week I was in NYC and it was pouring rain.  All I could was laugh as we were walking around the city getting wet and our umbrellas turning inside out.  I realize why us on the east coast are so tough, we deal with the elements of weather vs. sunshine all of the time.  I love experiencing all of these things.  Life lends itself to amazing experiences when we are open to them.

This is what station the rental car was tuned to!  I had flown into Providence and was driving to Boston.  I was ready to listen to some great music and turned on the radio this station that it was set to.  Let me just say…..I burst out LAUGHING! Didn’t even know this existed. I had to share…….

TRAVEL WITH LAUGHTER!!!!

Is dumping a lot of snow on the mid-Atlantic area.  It is beautiful and I am laughing my way around town walking and taking pictures.  Is there a lot to do and does it cause stress for people, yes….however……I am enjoying the time at home!

We are getting a lot of snow!!!  It is sooooo beautiful.
